Ali Rezayat was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1986. He received his master degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2011. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) where he is currently PhD-student in the Acoustics & Vibration Research Group (AVRG). His main research interests are in the field of frequency domain system identification, operational modal analysis of civil structures, fluid-structure interaction (FSI) and inverse load identification techniques. He is currently involved in the FWO research project (wind tunnel experiments) which aims to identify dynamic loads on structures due to wind, using an inverse approach.
