    Mohammad Ahmadi Bidakhvidi was born in Karaj, Iran, on May 1st 1985. He received his bachelor and master degree in industrial engineering electromechanics from University College of Antwerp, in 2007. He received the master degree in mechanical-electrotechnical engineering in 2009 from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Presently he is working as a doctoral researcher of the Institute for the Promotion of Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders (IWT) at the department of Mechanical Engineering (WERK) of VUB. His research interests lie in computational simulation and optimization of engineering systems, Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI), Aeroelasticity and experimental laser techniques (Particle Image Velocimetry, Laser Doppler Vibrometry).
