Daniel Villegas was born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1985. He received his Master in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Pública de Navarra (UPNA) in 2009. In the framework of his Master's thesis, the research candidate has developed a new production technique for the so called 3rd generation Pleated Pneumatic Artificial Muscle. From 2009, he has been working in the Multibody Mechanics and Robotics research group at VUB to develop Pleated Pneumatic Artificial Muscle with Integrated Valve/Sensor Assembly.
