Leonidas Siozos-Rousoulis

Leonidas Siozos-Rousoulis obtained an engineering degree (Dipl. Ing.) in mechanical engineering in 2011, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Topic of his master thesis was the acoustic simulation of an open rotor aircraft engine. In January 2013 he joined the Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics Research Group of VUB and is currently a doctoral researcher funded by a Ph.D. grant of the Agency for Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders (IWT). His research is based on computational aeroacoustics and aerodynamic noise prediction by the acoustic analogy, focusing on broadband noise and acoustic scattering, as well as flow control techniques for noise reduction.
