Mohsen Omidi is a doctoral researcher at the Robotics and Multibody Mechanics Research Group (BruBotics) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and imec. In the worldwide robotic competition in 2013, he got first place in the rescue robots league. He received his master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Iran in September 2020. Currently, he is working on human-robot collaboration and interaction, funded by imec. His research interests include human-robot interaction/collaboration, human factors and ergonomics, collaborative robots (Cobot), XR technology, and augmented/virtual reality in robotics.
