Felipe Ballen Moreno was born in Bogota, Colombia, in 1996, where he received his bachelor‚s degree in Mechanical engineering from Escuela Colombiana de Ingenieria Julio Garavito (ECIJG) in 2018. He was funding by the Colciencias (Administrative Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation) to continue his M.Sc at the Center for Biomechatronics founded in ECIJG. He graduated in 2020 with his work entitled "Development of physical interfaces to promote kinematic compatibility for AGoRA lower-limb exoskeleton." Currently, he is a Ph.D. researcher at R&MM studying the Human-Robot Interaction and how the soft tissue is involved in this interaction
Research
His primary research has focused on developing, improving, and assessing lower-limb exoskeletons to assist or enhance the user, using user-centered design to achieve a suitable robotic device, and qualitative and quantitative assessment to analyze the interaction, comfort, and safety of the user
Research Interests
Exoskeletons; Physical interfaces or braces; Qualitative/quantitative assessment
