Parham Haji Ali Mohamadi was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1990. In 2014, I graduated from K.N.Toosi University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2017, I obtained my Master of Science in Control Engineering from SRBIA University.
I started my career as an R&D engineer in a medical instrumentation company. I continued my professional career in PMD Partner GmbH as an R&D engineer and team manager. After that, I joined BDOOD bike-sharing Co. there, I developed an intelligent alert management system for the operation department. On the other hand, I was engaged with developing a smart bike lock which is an ultra-low power IoT device.
I started collaborating with Brubotics research center on the SAFeR project which the team prepared a rehabilitation robot for the KUKA innovation award as one of the finalists. My role in this project was developing the web interface to communicate with the robot.
Since Dec. 2022 I am working as a PhD researcher in the Robotics and Multibody Mechanics research group at VUB. At the R&MM, my research focuses on energy management methods in robotic field.
Research interests
- IoT & industry 4.0 Technologies
- Biomechatronic
- Big Data & Data Analytics
The focus of my research are mechanical transmissions that can be combined with electrical motors to build highly efficient actuators with large torque density for use in human-centric robotic applications, like exoskeletons, cobots, prosthesis, humanoids, ...
