As some of you may know, there is something like the Robocup. In different categories, robots of different sizes play soccer against each other. The end goal of the Robocup challenge is to create a team of soccer playing robots that can defeat the present world champion soccer in 2050. For more information, check out the website of the Robocup. To involve the Youth, there is also a competition for kids between 8 and 14 years old. In three different categories, they are invited to build a robot and taste a little bit of the fascinating world of robotics. In the first category, they have to build a dancing robot and make a choreography. In the second, the robot have to follow a line until it reaches a swamp and then the robot has to save a victim out of this swamp. The last category is the soccer game.
