Frank Daerden was born in 1966. He received the degree in study of Mechanical Engineering at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a
PhD in Applied Sciences, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, 1999.
He was research and teaching assistant from 1991 till 1999 and
doctor-Assistant from 1999 and visiting Professor since 2003, at the dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Frank is now at Jomy but remains active in the department as part-time assistant professor.
