Welcome the Pianobot website,

This website present to you our project for the Mechatronics course 2011. The robot was designed and assembled by three first master mechanical engineering students supervised by Prof. Dr. Ir. Bram Vanderborcht and Ir. Victor Grosu.

This year our challenge was to build a rehabilitation robot for people who have problems with finger coordination. Pianobot makes it possible for those people to exercise their finger coordination in a fun and motivational way. The exercise is possible for both hands and Pianobot is equipped with 3 levels of difficulty. An LCD screen takes care of the counting and motivational stimulant. Pianobot is made plug and play for convenience.
