Because we did not get the time to thoroughly test the printed circuit board and wanted to play it safe, we decided not to perform our presentation of the project with the designed PCB, although we created it in Traxmaker. The design started by taking a closer look at the PCB file of the supplied test-board and identify every component and track. Next we cleared the PCB of all the unnecessary parts and added our own elements like the smartcard reader and LCD display.
