Global insight

The assignment for the development of the Egg Gripper consists in gripping an egg in one gripper pointing upwards and then having a second gripper that comes to grab the egg from the first one by performing an upward and downward movement.

When one of the eggs must be taken out of the gripper on the plate, the second gripper comes to catch that egg. When the first gripper senses the second one coming closer, its fingers automatically open once the second gripper has gripped the egg, thus making sure that it does not fall in the transition process.
